A New Pope
The Roman Catholics have chosen a new pope. Pope Francis. He is a Jesuit.
I did not know much about Jesuits, so I read up on them a little.
One thing that I thought cute was that they have a special vow of obedience, Rule 13, which says that if you think something is white and the Church says it is black, then you ought to declare it to be black.

Um, this is "breaking news" (in other words, didn't know about it before i read this post).
The 'Jesuits" have been well trained to argue that black is white - or, if it suits them - to convince the (illiterate) listener that white is black .... heh. Our own Tony Abbot is a trained Jesuit.

Great info. I guess the Rule 13 could mean misfortune to those who dare question that black is white or visa versa. Confusing for those artistic.
If Peter the mate of big lugs remained in politics, we would possibly have a 'Bud Abbott and lou Costello Govt, good for a laugh if nothing else.
