Nothing in this blog can be believed. If you think that anything in this blog is true or factual, you'll need to verify it from another source. Do you understand? No? Then read it again, and repeat this process, until you understand that you cannot sue me for anything you read here. Also, having been sucked into taking part in the mass-murder of more than 3 million Vietnamese people on behalf of U.S. Big Business "interests", I'm as mad as a cut snake (and broke) so it might be a bit silly to try to sue me anyway...

Drone War in Pakistan

Noor Behram remembers why he started on his mission to photograph the scenes of drone attacks in Pakistan. The reason was 12 dead people — an entire family extinguished in what was officially a US attack on militants. But the 39-year-old, who works for Arabic language news network Al Jazeera, had sources in Waziristan who told him the official story was only half of the truth.

“A family that lived on a neighboring slope heard the noise and watched the incident down in the valley. In this moment a US fighter jet roared over and shot a rocket at their home. Eight women and girls, along with four men, died.”

OK .. there are many "stories". Some for, some against, and there are multinational "sources" to prove one way or another.

What's the point?

There are, of course; several concepts here. Firstly - the USA basic statement that "terrorists" will be 'hunted and killed'.

The tricky bit with that one is the definition of "terrorists".

@Vest: "What happened to the slogan 'Yankee Go Home'?"

Use the Google search box in the sidebar, Vestie, and you'll see that this blog has a proud history of inviting the Yanks to go home. :-)

@Davo: "What's the point?" The point is that America, that champion of "the rule of law" is prepared to summarily execute those it accuses of being terrorists, or suspected terrorists, or those congregating with those whom America has accused or suspected of being terrorsts. And it lies and denies about the killing of innocents. And it's prepared to violate the sovereignty of foreign countries.

If you can't see what's wrong with that, I give up...

@Davo: The definition of "terrorist" is that he's blowing people up, not for "us", but for "them". If he's blowing people up for "us" he's called a "good guy". It's all very simple, Davo.
