I woke up in A Brave New World...

Mercenaries (called "security contractors" these days) doing the killing for the US government. e.g. Blackwater, Xe, Academi, et al.

Corporatisation of intelligence gathering and analysis. e.g. Stratfor

The corporatisation of politics, war, and foreign policy.

I guess there's not much the US government can be held accountable for these days. "It wasn't us, it was a contractor." The outsourcing of responsibility. They really do have "the best government money can buy".

And we're in bed with those mass murdering maniacs? We let them "own" us?
