im cree and i always laugh when i see how this prophecy has been distorted from its original words and intention. the cree who said this wasnt talking about "we", he was referring to the you of the western world and it is a prophecy meant to illustrate that the greed of the western world is what would destroy all of us, even though the cree did not and still do not buy into your way of life. if you want to get it right, then replace the "we" with "you" as it was meant to be.

Agreed. I always took it to mean that the "we" was how those at whom the prophecy was directed spoke it. i.e. we know it was about us, so we said it as "we". But yes, it is a bit ambiguous. :-(
