Nothing in this blog can be believed. If you think that anything in this blog is true or factual, you'll need to verify it from another source. Do you understand? No? Then read it again, and repeat this process, until you understand that you cannot sue me for anything you read here. Also, having been sucked into taking part in the mass-murder of more than 3 million Vietnamese people on behalf of U.S. Big Business "interests", I'm as mad as a cut snake (and broke) so it might be a bit silly to try to sue me anyway...

My new steed

She's a Hyosung GV650C. Her name is Rocinante. Love is a mental illness.

I note with smug satisfaction that all that white paint and chrome will take forever to keep clean. I'll leave it to BB to take a shot at you for taking liberties with Cervantes. But I see you haz gots hard luggage - planning a trip?

Andrew, what makes you think she will ever be ridden in inclement conditions? The hard luggage came with the package. Don't know about trips just yet, but when the weather mellows, I could be tempted.

Sue, Rocinante says "gracias".

Which reminds me, time I went down to the garage to talk to her again...

We all need these sorts of toys. I have one, will try to find a picture of it without me in the frame.

Phil, I'm loving it. When I'm not questioning my sanity, that is...

Al, who'd have thunk I'd ever get a cruiser, eh? there certainly seems to be some truth in that old biblical saying "the bowel moves in mysterious ways."

Love the poetry, Davo.

The lance?

Do you see the shadow in the bottom left corner, Davo? Well, that is me taking that pic, and let me tell you I was all "lanced-up" about my new bike.

Just as well that part of the shadow is not visible, or I would have needed a wider angle lens to get it all in.

Update: Sold the 2004 Super Sherpa for $3,000 yesterday. Since it is in immaculate condition with only 8,200 kms on the clock, the buyer and I agreed he got a bargain.
