Nothing in this blog can be believed. If you think that anything in this blog is true or factual, you'll need to verify it from another source. Do you understand? No? Then read it again, and repeat this process, until you understand that you cannot sue me for anything you read here. Also, having been sucked into taking part in the mass-murder of more than 3 million Vietnamese people on behalf of U.S. Big Business "interests", I'm as mad as a cut snake (and broke) so it might be a bit silly to try to sue me anyway...

what's happenin', dude?

Well, this is the 710th post in this blog, that's what's happening...

I've obtained speech recognition software and as soon as I can make it work you can look forward to TRUE stream-of-consciousness stuff from this blogger. Unedited insanity... Yo!

There's an APEC Forum being held here in Sydney in September. I will be there. I will have mastered the handicam I've yet to buy. I will be on the prowl to cover the demonstrations. I will be pointing the lens at any and all violence I can detect, irrespective of who is dishing it out.

I was talking to someone from the Chaser's War On Everything at an event today and gleaned this little bit of information: Apparently it would be pointless for me to try to get official accreditation from the government for my video shoot as they are trying damn hard to stack the deck with "their kind" of "reporters". Also revealed was the snippet that the Spooks have a list. Known activists are on this list. If you are stopped and asked to produce ID by any of the Stormtroopers, and if your name is on "the list", you will automatically be made to disappear for four days, kept fully incommunicado, until the APEC Forum is over, and then released. Say hello to the new "anti-terror" laws (sic). If this happens to me, once I get out, there will be hell to pay. Trust me. They ain't seen nuffin' yet, boyzangrrlz...

I will have legal back-up organised before I go in there...

And I'm thinking of daisy chains... What I mean is a camera watching a camera watching the guy filming the action. It's hard to round up all those cameras... They don't have enough gorillas...

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

Hey! I just noticed that New Blogger "saves your drafts automatically"... Hmmm... So, now Big Brother captures and stores your every word, whether you publish or not... Hmmm...

Is that enough for you today?

unedited insanity? well that might be novel on your blog but...

I am looking for the software to accidentally make puns out of half your sentences because it takes the other spelling.

blogger, with the right subpoena, IS big brothers tool. Encryption plugins for FireFox are turning up but that is not going to help much.

Your press freedoms seem a bit more constrained than we yanks enjoy but its possible that optimism is just a delusion. Our entire press corps slept while bush lied us into a war...maybe the honest reporters had been given the wrong dates and locations for all the press conferences and the pet press got the good info and the valid passes.

GS, mainstream media reporters are propaganda prostitutes. Never have sex with one without a condom...

Puppets of populism is what these slimebags are...

There are a few exceptions... Too few exceptions...

Thanks for the comments.

Green Left Parramatta, sorry, can't make it on that day. Also, stop supporting trade union thugs you hypocrites. Help stamp out thuggery in unions, you pathetic bunch of pretend peace activists... Grrrr... Either condemn violence wherever it occurs or stop hiding behind the peace movement! Grrrr... Believe me you don't want me to turn up at any of your meetings... I call apologists for violence apologists for violence. You wouldn't like me to do that, now would you? Grrrr... Bloody political dinosaurs.... Grrrr...

Gerry,

You talk about violence and all you offer are threats.

You seem not to know much about the history of the peace movement, my friend, so stop playing the holier than thou line as thou your 'peace-ness' is all that matters.

The movement against war in this country was built by the activist socialist left in alliance with other forces. It goes way way back to the conscription fight during the First World War. Today that still remains the case.

Ignorance is one thing. Arrogance is another. You seem to suffer from both.

Since you obviously don't know what you are talking about with your ready abuse of other activists (who may have much more to their antiwar CV than you can boast), maybe a bit of humility would be in order since I think the peace movement in the West of Sydney may need all the support and activists it can get.

Unfortunately, you obviously prefer to exclude people on the basis of your say so.

So how you gonna build a movement with an attitude like that?

Oh welcome back. How about steam of consciousness - there seems to be plenty of it about.

Dave, you're right in saying that your CV is better than my CV. You got me there, Dave. I still say that one is not really genuine about peace if one is an advocate or apologist for violence. And I fail to see how I am threatening anyone with any violence unless you classify my verbal actions as a form of violence, but I wouldn't really go there if I were you, Dave...

Phil, 'steam of consciousness'... I like that... :-)

Oo ah, he's awake but did someone have to poke him with a sharp pointed stick to do it.

Go to the demonstrations but wear your 'bears are an endangered species' badge and I'll have the RSPCA standing by in case 'they' try to spirit you away.

JahTeh, I was the one who poked first. So spare me no sympathy.

I'd like Dave to debate this issue with me, but I guess I'll have to settle for tit-for-tat ad hominem, since it looks like I cast the first stone. What the readers didn't know was that I've tried on previous occasions (at their events) to get BM Socialist Alliance people to consider not supporting political violence of any kind and all I got back was mouthfuls of rhetoric justifying violence and no real interest expressed in debating the topic. So I was left feeling frustrated, and when they visited here I thought I'd have my say on my own turf.

So, Dave, if you are reading this, I challenge you to debate political and union violence with me here. Who knows you might even be able to make enough sense to me to convert me into a biffo-justifying "heavy" for world peace.

Waiting...

I guess Dave's not going to respond... Hmmm... I notice that apart from trying to bury me under a pile of ad hominem, he didn't actually respond to my comments about their position on political and union violence.

Also, Dave, if you ever read this, about your question: "So how you gonna build a movement with an attitude like that?" It's a strawman. And anyway, if I _was_ trying to build a PEACE or UNION movement, I would not condone any form of physical violence as a means to an end. Ghandi,
Cesar Chavez, Martin Luther King Jr. Nonviolence is a hundred times more powerful than sabotage, vandalism, biffo and guns. What else can I say... But I guess I'm just ranting to myself - again...
