Nothing in this blog can be believed. If you think that anything in this blog is true or factual, you'll need to verify it from another source. Do you understand? No? Then read it again, and repeat this process, until you understand that you cannot sue me for anything you read here. Also, having been sucked into taking part in the mass-murder of more than 3 million Vietnamese people on behalf of U.S. Big Business "interests", I'm as mad as a cut snake (and broke) so it might be a bit silly to try to sue me anyway...

years of training...

It must take years of training to get them to hold their mouths "just so"...

Found the image at Sky News whilst browsing Muppet Lord's blog.

Now there's two undiagnosed cases of PTSD if I ever saw any... Talk about "walking wounded"...

My birthday? It's quietly been and gone, Link. No fuss. I hate people making a fuss over my birthday. SWMRN took me out to dinner and afterwards we listened to Slava Gregorian at the Clarendon. Even Slava had no idea it was my 60th... How good is that, eh? :-)

Slava Gregorian, Yummy.

Sneaky Bear, you could have at least given us a hint that you were approaching senilityhood.
And why shouldn't you have a fuss made over your birthday.

Damn! The rampage we could have had all over this blog with witty old age jokes and Ron could have managed a cyber Birthday cake that burst into flames when anyone clicked on it.

Old people hate young ones having fun.

Well happy 60th gerry. You made it. I heard from a 94 year old that one's seventies are the best years so much more to come.

JahTeh, your comment proves to me i was right to be sneaky. You would have caused trouble. :-)

Link, thanks. But I'm not excited about old age. I just want outa here. I've seen 'normal', and it's pure insanity.

While we're got a planet run by the marketing, advertising, and PR 'gurus'; whilst we let "the economy" dictate the terms, we're stuffed and getting stufter. I don't see it changing, except further towards madness and evil.

If this where democracy takes us, it's time to stop singing its praises or change the way it operates.

Nah, yuze can stick it all up your collective jumpers... I don't give yuze any hope at all... (Yes, I AM an outsider...)

COME OUTSIDE
(Charles Blackwell)
Mike Sarne (with Wendy Richard) - 1962

Little doll we've been jiving all night long (Little doll)
Little doll gotta feeling somethings wrong (Little doll)
Coz it aint right to wanna keep on dancing
There won't be any time left for romancing

Come outside, come outside
There's a lovely moon out there
Come outside, come outside
While we got time to spare

Little doll it seems ages since we kissed (Little doll)
Little doll think of all the fun we've missed (Little doll)
Coz it aint right to wanna keep on dancing
There won't be any time left for romancing

Come outside, (Wendy: what for)
Come outside (Wendy: whats the rush)
There's a lovely moon out there (Wendy: it's cold out side)
Come outside, (Wendy: why)
Come outside (Wendy: you do keep on)
While we got time to spare (Wendy: I want another twist)

Now I went and promised your old man
That we'd be home about half past ten
Seems we've got just one more jive
Then we'll be starting home again

Come outside,(Wendy: get lost)
Come outside (Wendy: go and ask Lil)
There's a lovely moon out there (Wendy: you can go off people)
Come outside, (Wendy: give over)
Come outside (Wendy: belt up)
While we got time to spare (Wendy: why don't you listen to the beat)

Little doll I know the band aint bad (Little doll)
Little doll I'm agetting kinda mad (Little doll)
Coz it aint right to wanna keep on dancing
There won't be any time left for romancing

Come outside,(Wendy: lay off)
Come outside (Wendy: shove it)
There's a lovely moon out there (Wendy: you are a one)
Come outside,(Wendy: all right)
Come outside (Wendy: not for too long)
While we got time for a bit of slap and tickle
(Wendy: I'll slap and tickle you in a minute)
Oh come out for a bit of .....FADE
