The keyboard is mightier than the machine gun... The political, philosophical and general outpourings of a troubled soul living in Australia and blogging his Vietnam veteran's head off.
Nothing in this blog can be believed. If you think that anything in this blog is true or factual, you'll need to verify it from another source. Do you understand? No? Then read it again, and repeat this process, until you understand that you cannot sue me for anything you read here. Also, having been sucked into taking part in the mass-murder of more than 3 million Vietnamese people on behalf of U.S. Big Business "interests", I'm as mad as a cut snake (and broke) so it might be a bit silly to try to sue me anyway...

This is a con to get us to write your blog posts.
You guys don't have time for idle chatter. Deadline's looming... :-)
Socialism is very CONvincing, but such a system does start PROnto, we may soon experience the end of the Earth. Some people may be CONtent with that, but I say, PROduce the facts, and they will soon see it differently. As individuals and as a group of people, we all want and need to get CONtrol, because so few of us have it. Perhaps the only way to get this is to PROmote socialism. We can achieve this is we are able to CONnect with others, but must of us are inclined to PROcrastinate,so maybe socialism is doomed!
From an ill-knowledged standpoint: the 'pro' to Socialism is that it's ideal on paper, the 'con' to Socialism is troubleshooting the application of it. Humans don't have the capacity to be content having exactly what everyone else has - apparently.
Unsane, that was a very clever response. "...we all want and need to get control..." ??? Sounds like a busload of people all trying to grab the steering wheel of the bus. Let me off!!! I fear socialism is an ideal which cannot be realised by modern humans and that depresses me.
Rocker, did you have a different comment here earlier? If so you tricked me. :-) And yes, I think the problem with a concept of common wealth rather than private wealth is one of the inherent selfishness and greed within modern humans. Trouble is (I think) that capitalism is about to devour its young...
