I must admit I prefer the old days with the loony left (Jim Cairns) vs the fascist right (anybody in the Liberal party). In these days of spin it's just the mask of Janus, with nobody saying what they think, and nobody being truthful about policy, and both sides being just the opposite sides of the same flawed coin.

If it is the policy of the unelected (and unelectable) mandarins in Canberra to make Australia the 51st state of the union, then I wish someone in politics would come forward and admit the policy.
