Graffiti
Lachlan Ridge sent me this. I think he was prompted by a previous post here.
BTW, Lachlan's doing it tough at the moment, so he's a bit too distracted to post here at the moment. I hope things pick up for him soon.
The keyboard is mightier than the machine gun... The political, philosophical and general outpourings of a troubled soul living in Australia and blogging his Vietnam veteran's head off.
Nothing in this blog can be believed. If you think that anything in this blog is true or factual, you'll need to verify it from another source. Do you understand? No? Then read it again, and repeat this process, until you understand that you cannot sue me for anything you read here. Also, having been sucked into taking part in the mass-murder of more than 3 million Vietnamese people on behalf of U.S. Big Business "interests", I'm as mad as a cut snake (and broke) so it might be a bit silly to try to sue me anyway...

Love it. I also like the fact that the subsequent (blue) graffiti is consistently capitalised and correctly punctuated.
Pedant. :-)
I'm very fond of the idea of anarchy here. Not that we can live without some kind of a government, but we need a different kind of government here and anarchy is the only way to get there.
Not that I'm willing to join any rebellion, I'm getting old, I'm just a cheerleader.
BBC, the problem I have is that anarchism, as I understand it, preaches that government is bad.
So, what gets on my goat is how come a bunch of guys who reckon government is bad want to govern us.
Might explain why, wherever anarchism has overthrown a regime, an equally evil totalitarianism has sprouted up.
It just smells fishy to me.
I read Emma Goldman's autobiography and learned nothing, except that as an anarchist, she became disillusioned in what happened in the USSR (which sort of underscores what I'm saying.)
Another thing that bothers me about anarchism is its acceptance of the idea of political violence.
The blog is very helpful, maintain putting up beneficial info
Not being pedantic at all. Just enjoying the joke that the person who applied the blue writing has encapsulated the true spirit of Anarchy (" Don't Tell Me What To Do ") while demonstrating that someone knocked the rules of grammar, capitalisation and so on, into his thick head years ago (a.k.a. telling him what to do).
I would have thought that the blue guy was (possibly) deliberately butchering the rules, i.e inconsistent and inappropriate use of capitals, thereby rebelling against said rules.
I guess that makes me the pedant now. :-)
Yups, you is a pedant fo' sho'. [Hands Gerry a soothing virtual alcumoholic refreshment].
Hic...
Sometimes Graffiti is more informative than the news.
