Nothing in this blog can be believed. If you think that anything in this blog is true or factual, you'll need to verify it from another source. Do you understand? No? Then read it again, and repeat this process, until you understand that you cannot sue me for anything you read here. Also, having been sucked into taking part in the mass-murder of more than 3 million Vietnamese people on behalf of U.S. Big Business "interests", I'm as mad as a cut snake (and broke) so it might be a bit silly to try to sue me anyway...

time for a bit of action...

This is a bit 'last minute', I know, but I only got it a few minutes ago, so I thought I'd pass this on to you guys as well. So get amongst it, dudes and dudettes !!!
Wed 1 June 2005 - Biggest world email protest against Bush

Today Amnesty International lashed out at US President George W Bush for making the global situation worse by condoning torture and the suppression of human rights in the 'war on terror'.

'The US administration's attempts to dilute the absolute ban on torture through new policies and quasi-management speak such as "environmental manipulation", "stress positions", and "sensory manipulation" was one of the most damaging assaults on global values,' said AI Secretary General Irene Khan.

Be part of a
coordinated effort to remove Bush. Hit the media and politicians hard. Try it ! This will be the world's biggest protest against Bush. All of us will speak with 'ONE VERY LOUD VOICE' via millions of emails to all American media news desks and politicians on Wed 1 June 2005. I've already contacted hundreds of activist organisations across the world but need your help NOW !!!

Email everyone you know asking them to email everyone they know (blind copy them if you like and aim for local and overseas people).

Your email tells everyone to contact media and politicians on Wed 1 June 2005 requesting that Bush (a) Face charges of war crimes, (b) Be thoroughly investigated for conflict of interest and abuse of position with personal financial interests in Middle East pipelines and military equipment manufacturers.

For Wed, 1 June 2005, email addresses of hundreds of American
media news desks and politicians are listed at
http://MediaNewsDesks.blogspot.com
or
http://www.rumormillnews.com/MEDIA_EMAIL_ADDRESSES

You can also sign an on-line petition to impeach George Bush at
http://www.votetoimpeach.org
or
http://votenader.org/get_involved/impeach

You have support: in a poll of 22,000 people across 21 countries, 58% expected Bush to have a negative impact on peace and security, only 26% considered him a
positive force, and dislike of Bush is translating into dislike of Americans in general.

"One little person giving all her time to peace, can make news. Many people, giving some of their time, can make history." Peace Pilgrim

Hey dodgyknees, I think you made yourself $10. Well, as with Liam's bet that i'd come back to blogging asap, nobody actually took you up on it.

Hmmm, talcum powder in an envelope, it must be the easiest way to terrify people on the planet...

Indeed. Of course, I don't call it terrorism. If we're not careful, Howard will be able to lock you up and throw away the key for scaring someone by saying "BOO!!!!.

It was a hoax for which there ought to be stiff penalties, yes, but terrorism, no.

I'm a bit puzzled why you brought this subject over to here though...

Sorry I missed this one, just saw your site today. Anyway a Bush resig is really just a comrade wetdream, so don't hold your breath.

The biggest fish we can all hope for is Rummy and he's already lamer than a one legged owl without any wings. It would be sweet to see Bush go in impeachment and I'd dance a jig for days, but it just isnt going to happen.

On the bright side I think that an all out neocon scourge like Bush and co is the best medicine for America to wake up from its many delusions about society, religion, and even economics. We seem to be destined to take a big fall and will have to get back up again to figure out what the fuck we were ever thinking in recent history.

Either way, your writing is interesting and a lot of it is quite refreshing. When is seems like nobody is understanding the world around you things seem bleak. The word seems to be getting around, and the revolution will be just around the corner.

Ryan, welcome. You're reading this blog in depth? Dangerous... Very dangerous... You'll come across my anti-American tirades and then you'll never speak to me again. ;-)

Revolution? You can't have a revolution while most people are busy with careers and mortgages.

And anyway, revolutionaries seem to want to kill and maim with the best of them, so they're no different from their "oppressors". It's the old "abusers abusing the abusers" feedback loop. It's the "two wrongs make a right" brigade. It's not the answer.

The answer is massive prolonged peaceful people power. I can't find too many people interested in and committed to a totally pacifist revolution. The world needs a Gandhi. Where is the next Gandhi? And if one came along, they'd probably dismiss him as an idealistic wanker.

Sort of like if Jesus came back now and said "I'm Jesus, I've come to walk among you again", they'd lock him up quick and feed him anti-psychotic medication and give him electro convulsive "therapy" till he "got better".

America is the most dangerous rogue state on this planet right now and it will be a cold day in hell before anyone will ever trust America again. Talk about gross abuse of power...

And I hold every single American responsible for this spree of war crimes . Every one of you guys, Ryan. Those who voted for Bush are responsible. Those who voted against him and have not yet banded together with others like themselves to overthrow this mad regime via massive, peaceful civil disobedience campaigns are responsible by their inaction.

As I've said before, there are literally tens of millions of you guys who are (apparently) disgusted with the Bush regime and so the numbers for a massive display of peaceful people power is well and truly there. All that's missing is unity of purpose and commitment to that purpose. Gridlock Washington till the bastards resign! Do it now! This shit could be all over in a few weeks if you guys got off your backsides. America, reclaim your integrity! Rise up NOW!!!"

But we all know you guys won't... All we'll get is excuses... America The Pitiful...
