Nothing in this blog can be believed. If you think that anything in this blog is true or factual, you'll need to verify it from another source. Do you understand? No? Then read it again, and repeat this process, until you understand that you cannot sue me for anything you read here. Also, having been sucked into taking part in the mass-murder of more than 3 million Vietnamese people on behalf of U.S. Big Business "interests", I'm as mad as a cut snake (and broke) so it might be a bit silly to try to sue me anyway...

tsunami info website...

One of my left-leaning secret agents, codename Flowerpot, has provided this link. It's got, as far as I'm concerned, some good links and some utter crap links on it, but the good links make a visit there worthwhile. Flowerpot says the site has been put up by members of the Australian Socialist Alliance & supporters of Green Left Weekly. So there you go.

Another site worth looking at is this site. (Thanks to Barista for the link.)

Many G8 countries' satellites picked it up but they were ignored because they weren't considered powerful or something.
But I guess they had to eat shit.
I live 2 1/2 km from the marina and our area felt it too.
If you ask me, the irony of the entire situation is the fact that India, one of the worst affected is also one of the key members of the four countries which is going to co-ordinate the funds.(This group consists of US, Japan, Australia and suprise suprise India)
As if all of us Indians are not terribly muddled about the financial situation of our country (The fact that the BCCI - Board of Control of Cricket in India earns more than a 2 third world countries put together), I don't think this is going to help us any better.

Hobbes, I'm sure you young whippersnappers deliberately use expressions like "you're sucha babe" to make old geezers like me ask "what?", thereby underscoring the vastness of the generation gap. ;-)
