Nothing in this blog can be believed. If you think that anything in this blog is true or factual, you'll need to verify it from another source. Do you understand? No? Then read it again, and repeat this process, until you understand that you cannot sue me for anything you read here. Also, having been sucked into taking part in the mass-murder of more than 3 million Vietnamese people on behalf of U.S. Big Business "interests", I'm as mad as a cut snake (and broke) so it might be a bit silly to try to sue me anyway...

so you think war is ok, do you, fuckwit?

I am just so totally sick of people who've never really seen war face-first telling me how it's OK to be doing mass-murder in order to justify our particular economic/cultural/ideological/ /religious bullshit. Hundreds of thousands of people are getting killed because we have replaced dialogue with mass-murder. Talk about the rule of law, if we ever get international law happening in any real sense, this shit is a major, major war crime.

I've got an idea: Next time you come across a politician, activist, or religious leader spruiking the need for war, KILL HIM/HER !!! If this idea really caught on, no politician, activist, or religious leader would ever talk about war as a way of solving problems ever again. I'm a pacifist, but if there has to be killing, kill those who tell us that war is the way to go!!! Does this make sense? No. Would it work? Yes.

Now, before the spooks come knocking on my door, I need to provide a disclaimer.

Disclaimer: Killing politicians, activists or religious leaders is wrong. Do not do it! Notwithstanding the above rant, I have no intention of harming any politicians, activists or religious leaders.

So now, you totally insane bastards from ASIO, AFP, FBI, CIA, NSA, or whatever, can crawl right back under your rock again, OK? And please take a pro-war politician, activist, or religious leader with you! Thank you.

Hehe.. No. Perhaps I should. But then I might have to shoot myself too.

Non sequitur: I have new name for Prozac. I call it the complacency drug. Put the whole world on Prozac, and watch dissent and protest evaporate... Must be tempting for the bastards to put into our water...

You're right as rain! Even over here in macho land (USA) it's the cowards who haven't served and won't volunteer THEIR brats to go that are the ones most in favour of this genocide. They also happen to be the most brainwashed, ignorant rednecks on the planet. As for killing politicians, that's too good for them, but we could round them all up and make them roof houses in Texass (or the Top End) in the summer and shovel snow in Vermont (or the Snowies) in the winter. Oh yeah, at mininum wage ($5.15/hour).

Hey, Anonymous, you guys have GOT to change the way America does politics. Nothing will change here till something changer over at your end.

We're relying on you guys.

Please don't go putting in any more "democracies" around the world till we can see one over at your end worth having. So far, we're just shaking our heads and weeping.

FOR FUCK'S SAKE, WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T FORCE YOUR KIND OF "FREEDOM" ON US ANYMORE!! IT'S KILLING US !!!

Please take this comment and shove it up George Bush's arse, but make sure you tie it to football wrapped in barbed wire first. Thanks.

Sorry, but it's too late. I met a few rednecks when I lived downunder, but nothing like here. Every other person you meet is a Shrub loving redneck or a zombie. Nothing can save this country, we're outgunned (I don't think they'd hesitate to use WMDs against us) and civil disobedience only works against people of conscious. Besides, at least half the Americans love Bush (because he's as dumb as they are). No, you're best bet is to convince the rest of the world to stop doing business with the US, and you've got a snowballs chance in hell of doing that! Try convincing Lit'l Johnny of renouncing his partnership with King Geo!!!

Anon, that's EXACTLY what's happened. I used to get depressed a lot, but since the Iraq thing, I've beens os mad that Ihaven't been depressed nearly as much as before.

I think anger/rage displaces depression. But what worries me is that sooner or later this anger will run out of steam and then I'll slide right back down into depression again.

I had the same problem, but anger seems to be a great cure for depression and as long as the right-wingnuts are in charge I won't have time to get depressed! Of course they were always in charge, but as long as the USSR existed they were paranoid that the working classes might revolt and take over. Now they no longer have to worry about that. If you think things are bad now you ain't seen nothing yet. We aren't needed anymore except as cannon fodder for their dirty little wars. Enough of that for now. Are you working for a government agency??? That's a rhetorical question and I wouldn't expect an honest answer. In my old age I've come to distrust everyone. I was really curious when I stumbled upon your blog - it was the name that caught my attention! I had been thinking of starting a blog myself called Diogenes, but I soon realised that I wasn't eloquent enough. You're much better at it than I am. The problem with most bloggers is that they write to impress each other rather than convey ideas.

Anon, am I working for a government agency? Hahaha. I got kicked off the Not Happy, John* email discussion list becasue I attacked a couple of dudes, one of them the moderator, because I accused them of condoning violent protest. I was accused of being an ASIO** agent provocateur and my access to the group denied.

So, like true secret agent, I still have the Not Happy, John bumper* sticker on our ute (you call them pick-up trucks). And to provoke even more, I 've just pu thanother sticker on ther which says "There is no road to peace. Peace is the road." a saying attributed to Mahatma Gandhi.

*Not Happy, John is a campaign to mount resistance against Our Prime Minister's anti-democratic tactics.

**ASIO is like a cross between your CIA and your FBI.

Am aware of ASIO and a few other things about Oz - I was fortunate to live and work there for 8 years. I have many, many fond memories.....

Good one, anon. I appreciate your input. But I'm getting quite a few "anonymous" contributors, and whilst I do value each and every one of these, I need to be able to tell you timid creatures apart.

So here's the deal: Anonymous comments are welcome if they include a pseudonym or nom de plum. Deal?

Diogenes Surfer. I like it. BTW, thanks for the compliment, DS, but you shouldn't think of yourself as not being eloquent enough. That's MY problem, you can't have it!! You hear? It's MINE, I tell you, MINE !!! Go find your own problem!
