Nothing in this blog can be believed. If you think that anything in this blog is true or factual, you'll need to verify it from another source. Do you understand? No? Then read it again, and repeat this process, until you understand that you cannot sue me for anything you read here. Also, having been sucked into taking part in the mass-murder of more than 3 million Vietnamese people on behalf of U.S. Big Business "interests", I'm as mad as a cut snake (and broke) so it might be a bit silly to try to sue me anyway...

what was I thinking

In the previous post I said that if Obama gets elected I would stop being anti-American. Forgive me, dear reader, I must have been a tad light-headed with optimism...

What I meant to say was this: Even if Obama gets elected (and I hope that he does), I don't think the capitalists running America will change their spots anytime soon. They may change their tactics from overt aggression to covert trickery and deceit in order or make their megabucks, but the exploitation of the rest of the world for their own advantage will still be their main agenda. As such, I will be duty-bound to remain anti-American until such time that America stops singing the praises of capitalism and embraces more enlightened economic principles.

Pigs will fly and hell will freeze over before that can happen.

In the meantime, please be assured that I am aware that there are a few very nice American people and that I mean them no disrespect. The rest? A bunch of arrogant, selfish, greedy, spoilt, ignorant assholes who truly believe that Americans are the saviours of the world.

Oh... Did I mention that they are deluded?

You may join me in shouting YANKEE GO HOME !!!

YANKEE GO HOME !!!

Surely that defeats the purpose? If, as you say, americans ARE ignorant, insular and stupid .. would it not be better if they actually travelled a bit, and discovered that there ARE alternatives to "Insularity"?

Well, Davo, I see it this way:

The bastards have travelled too much.

After the Tsarists got their arses whopped in the revolution of 1917, the bastards deposited about 18,000 Marines in Russia to help the Tsarists try to re-assert their 'superiority' over the serfs.

For some more highlights of their pre-WWII travels, read this.

Then, in WWII they travelled broadly and solidified the Empire Of The US Dollar.

After WWII they travelled, in greater or lesser numbers, to just about every corner of the globe, "liberating" as they went. Check the itinerary here.

Oh yes, Davo, the bastards have travelled widlely and incessantly.

And the travellers, upon returning home, continued to spin the propaganda they had so eagerly gobbled up, in order to bask in the glory of "their service to their country". And the plebs lapped it up. They couldn't get enough of it. Brass bands filled the nation with military music and marching to their tunes became a national pastime.

No, Davo, I don't think the bastards should travel for a while.

I think the bastards should go home and stay home till they can learn that they are to the world what a conman is to a sucker.

And until then, we should all shout "YANKEE GO HOME !!!" on the top of our voices.

That's what I think...

I think America should be placed under house arrest for at least fifty years.

unfortunately it won't really matter WHO ends up in the public house at 1600 pennsylvania avenue. The reins (reigns?) will still be held by the Pentagon and Corporate boardrooms.

Even if Barak Obama ends up there as "window dressing", can't see the entrenched "culture" changing much, and "house arrest" is a fantasy. The only thing that will make the mericans think a bit is if China pulls its support for US Treasury bonds .. heh.

(the story goes something like this .. and forgive me if can't -at this point - supply factual links, but there seems to a be a vast trade defecit between the "consume at all costs" American econonomy and "if ya want it, we'll supply" chinese production philosophy. It is getting to the stage where the chinese "Authorities" are losing control of the flow of information, and the "workers" who seem to exist on 20c per day are getting restive, and wondering where all this "inflow" of wealth is actually going, since the chinese "government" has been a bit reluctant to spend it on internal infrastructure. What they've been doing (it seems) is feed the "capital wealth" back into - and support - its "prime market" by buying US Treasury bonds.

It's one of the reasons for the "cap" on information flow. If the Chinese "workers" get wind of it .. well .. bloody big population to try to keep under control, in China .. )

Davo, sorry for the delay in replying. You do know, of course, that if the Chinese go on a sudden and total "sell" of their US Treasury Bonds, it's curtains for the American economy (and maybe even the global economy, don't you? Must be a very tempting proposition for communists, eh?

Ahh... We may be living in interesting times...
