George Bush and his Republican Party machine stole the 2000 election. That much is known. But instead of taking to the streets, like Georgians or Ukranians or Uzbekis, most of the American public went home and switched on the teev or went to church. Even Democrat Congressmen and women sat there mum. Not what you’d call a healthy polity.
