Nothing in this blog can be believed. If you think that anything in this blog is true or factual, you'll need to verify it from another source. Do you understand? No? Then read it again, and repeat this process, until you understand that you cannot sue me for anything you read here. Also, having been sucked into taking part in the mass-murder of more than 3 million Vietnamese people on behalf of U.S. Big Business "interests", I'm as mad as a cut snake (and broke) so it might be a bit silly to try to sue me anyway...

Rachel Corrie is not a hero. There was nothing nobel or remarkable about her. Her death was tragic and unnecessary, but she is in large part responsible for it.

It's not about Corrie. It's about the wrongness of deliberately killing an innocent non-combatant.

It's about the arrogant, murderous Nazi-style behaviour of the IDF in Palestine.

And before you go labelling me an anti-semite, consider that about half of the Israeli population is equally disgusted, as is about half of the Jewish population world wide.

Many in the world now see it as hypocritical when a Jew continues to bemoan the holocaust but doesn't also speak out against what has been done to the Palestinian people by Israelis.

You want to talk about who's responsible for what, Jack, why not start with the systematic dispossession and inhumane brutalisation of the Palestian people by Israel for over fifty years? And don't even bother to use terrorism as an excuse. Israel was created by Zionist terrorism.

One more thing, Jack...

Rachel Corrie was a courageous, remarkable and noble person.

She was a person in whose shadow you were not fit to walk.

She had integrity. Those you defend lost theirs long ago and you've lost yours by defending them.

Thanks, DS.

Occasionally we get symathisers of Israel's terrorist tactics in here, but they're usually gutless snipers who fire one off-target shot and never come back to mount anything resembling a sane debate. We all know why that is... You cannot defend the indefensible...
