Nothing in this blog can be believed. If you think that anything in this blog is true or factual, you'll need to verify it from another source. Do you understand? No? Then read it again, and repeat this process, until you understand that you cannot sue me for anything you read here. Also, having been sucked into taking part in the mass-murder of more than 3 million Vietnamese people on behalf of U.S. Big Business "interests", I'm as mad as a cut snake (and broke) so it might be a bit silly to try to sue me anyway...

when the war music stops...

By Luciana Bohne, Online Journal Contributing Writer
A day will come when this crazed war music will stop, and the American people will hear the judgment that the Germans heard at Nuremberg—that, in Justice Robert Jackson's words, they had supported a regime which had committed "acts which have been regarded as criminal since the time of Cain." They will also be astonished to hear that, although they thought they were free, they had in fact been terrorized and enslaved by their own government in order to follow in Cain's footsteps—as the German people heard.

That's one way to see it, Jeff, and when I dive to the bottom of my pool of hopelessness, that's one of the things I find lurking down there.

Then again, as I said to DS in an email recently: Of course you're not alone. there are at least tens of millions of you in America. Just as there were millions of Germans who kew and loathed what Germany was doing. The differece is that unlike the Germans, you guys CAN still use a host of options provided by your constitution to bring your government to its knees. I believe you have the numbers, but I don't believe you (collective pronoun) have the will and determination to organise and agitate to the degree needed to bring the government down. But I am in no doubt that you have the numbers.

Forget about elections. I'm tallking mass (peaceful) civil unrest. I'm talking in-their-faces protests at major centeres like New York and Washington. Where is the American Gandhi, and if he/she were to step up today, would you guys leave the comfort of your homes to dwell on the streets for weeks if necessary? It's crunchtime for American democracy. Use it or lose it, guys. It's not yet too late. Yet.

I'm not letting the American people off the hook for one minute. Not after all that shit I've had to swallow coming out of your country about "freedom" and "democracy" and "home of the brave" and how your system is so wonderful the rest of the world MUST have it shoved down their throats and up their arses.

It really sickens me to know that there are enough of you guys to sort your government out, but all you (collective pronoun) do is whinge and whine about it or worse still remain, completley silent.

Stop whining and ACT !!!!!!!!!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I'm talking about causing a major incident, not waiting for one...

Dear spooks, before you go to condition RED in response to this blog, let me allay your fears of imagined terrorism. The only major events I'm interesting in causing are very peaceful and ultra-democratic. They are:

(1) To bring the corrupt government of the U.S. to its knees through peaceful protests on a massive scale.

or

(2) To crash global capitalism through the democratic use of massive consumer abstinance and altered purchasing and investment habits.

So, my little lunatics in the NSA, CIA, GCHQ and ASIO, THAT'S Freedom and Democracy right up your noses!

Choke on it, you fascist bastards!

Ron, sorry about the difficulties you're having.

DS is a guy who posts under those initials (stand for Diogenes Surfer) and who emails me stuff which, if I like it, I put it up on the blog and attribute the heads-up to him. He's ex-USAF, has lived in Australia and wishes he still did.

With my crappy anti-social tendencies showing through in my emails, he sometimes spits the dummy which is understandable and entirely forgivable.

It's me I don't forgive... :-(

I think I was the model for one of the characters in the movie "Grumpy Old Men", only the had to dilute it to make the movie sellable...

Ron, DS is a great bloke. It's me that's not. If DS started blogging he would soon have a large readership. And we'd all be less lonely in Gitmo when we get there as we surely must..

Sourdough? I think it goes way back in history to Europe. And yes, there's probably also an American sourdough, jst as there's an American Paris, Rome, Berlin, etc.

We love that stuff too. We get ours from a boutique bakery in Springwood.

Now stop turning my comments facility into a platform for sourdough spam, ya bastard! :-)
