Nothing in this blog can be believed. If you think that
anything in this blog is true or factual, you'll need to verify
it from another source. Do you understand? No? Then read it again,
and repeat this process, until you understand that you cannot sue
me for anything you read here. Also, having been sucked into taking
part in the mass-murder of more than 3 million Vietnamese people
on behalf of U.S. Big Business "interests", I'm as mad as a cut snake (and broke) so it might be a bit silly to try to sue me anyway...
Hey Phil...
You dig Van Halen?
If so, then you might dig
this 10 year old girl's rendition of the "Eruption" guitar solo. Dangerous-looking axe too..
As far as guitar solo's go,
Santana's Black Magic Woman does it of me every time...
Readers' Question: What is your vote for the best YouTube cover of the Black Magic Woman guitar solo?
2 Comments:
Gerry - well I'm not enough of a VH fna to know the song (probably a dead giveaway), but the young lady sure does rock.
I was in a pikc-up band when we lived in Jordan (1982-84), several of the members came from an earlier band and the lead guitarist was a Mexican-American engineer.
He had a black Gibson SG and Fender Twin Reverb and he played Black Magic Woman note for note, same phrasing as Santana. We did our best behind him (me on keyboards), but he was just superb.
PS: I also liked the pictures.
Yes, the pictures are good too.. ;-)
