Nothing in this blog can be believed. If you think that anything in this blog is true or factual, you'll need to verify it from another source. Do you understand? No? Then read it again, and repeat this process, until you understand that you cannot sue me for anything you read here. Also, having been sucked into taking part in the mass-murder of more than 3 million Vietnamese people on behalf of U.S. Big Business "interests", I'm as mad as a cut snake (and broke) so it might be a bit silly to try to sue me anyway...

John HoWARd, get fucked !!!

Iraq. Why did we invade Iraq?

First, the reason was to rid Saddam Hussein's regime of those heinous and world-peace-threatening "weapons of mass destruction" (which America sold to him).

Once it became clear that Saddam (as he had stated ad nauseam) had no frigging weapons of mass destruction, the Coalition Of The Killing deftly altered the words on the songsheet to read "regime change". All of a sudden we were not so committed to ridding Iraq of "weapons of mass destruction", as we were about spending hundreds of billions of dollars and killing hundreds of thousands of people in order to save the Iraqi people from Saddam Hussein. The same Saddam Hussein who was America's most favourite "strong man". Remember Oliver North? We were all of a sudden committed to removing Amerca's erstwhile "main man" from office and "liberating" the Iraqi people by giving them an utterly corrupt puppet government which would make sure that Iraqi oil got to be owned by American and British interests. This was to be called "democracy" and "freedom".

Well, that plan seems to be falling over as well... All of a sudden George W. Bush agrees that it's starting to look like Vietnam all over again. Shit! It's only taken Dubbya THREE YEARS to catch up to the pundits.

And here in Australia, Our Prime Monster, Little Johnnie HoWARd, now reckons that the reason we're going to stay there is so that "the terrorists" can't claim a victory. Excuse me? Did he really say that? Well, according to HoWARd's latest "logic", we'd still be getting our ass kicked in Vietnam because pulling out would have given Ho Chi Minh a big boost.

According to HoWARd's latest "brainwave", we can't leave until we "win", because leaving before then would give "the enemy" a boost. Little Johnie still has not joined all the dots correctly...

We're not winning, we're losing.

The war is out of our control and "the enemy" are winning. So, by HoWARd's"logic", we'd stay there for ever.

Well not quite... HoWARd's is trying to slither out of Iraq without anyone noticing he got his arse kicked. He now reckons that if we do decide to pull out it's up to the Iraqi people as to what sort of a govenment they want.

Huh?????

The Coalition Of The Oil Swilling Oil Thieves spent HUNDREDS of BILLIONS of dollars, got hundreds of thousands of Iraqis killed, squandered the lives, courage, and integrity of their own military personnel, merely to end up where it all began before their mighty "shock and awe" extravaganza began?

In other words, if it always was up to the Iraqi people as to what sort of a government they wanted, we would never have needed to intervene, right? I mean, it was up to the Iraqi people to sort out their internal politics, right? It was up to them stand up to Saddam, right?

Sorry, but could someone please tell me what's going on?

When even the democrats say " but pulling out would cost us more than staying" I think NOBODY could tell you what is going on...they haven't got a damn clue.

GS, we do need the US to take a leadership role in the world, BUT NOT THE ONE IT'S TAKING!

Coup, that's a profound comment. Thank you. You're probably not aware of it, but my genetic lineage is rooted in Romania. In about 1987 I was having a discussion with one of my Romanian relations who had gotten out of Romania and was then living in Germany (out here on a holiday). He was telling me how the Romanians were hoplessly repressed under the authoritarian yoke of a dictatorship. I remember telling him that it would take no more than about 500 committed Romanians willing to die for freedom to bring that corrupt regime down. A few years later, a Peaceful People Power revolt brought that regime to its knees with a lot less casualties.

My point here is that if the Iraqi people were really willing to topple Saddam Hussein, they would have done so. That they hadn't just means that they were not ready. No one can help those who are not yet ready.

In Vietnam, the Yanks killed nearly one third of the population (with my help) trying to force "freedom and democracy" down their throats. In the end the Vietnamese chose independence. You'd think that the Yanks, having fought their own War of Independence agaist imperial forces, would have seen that one coming. But, no, they did not.

Similarly, in Iraq and the Middle East in general, the Yanks fail to understand that their oppressive, arrogant, totalitarian presence just serves to create a resistance which they can never hope to crush.

Cyclops had better eyesight than your average Yank Strategist working for The Pentagon.

Fucking wankers!!!

Phil, I will not rest until that gutless little toady to Big Business and America is seen for what he really is, namely, a bloody little wanker with no guts other than to hide behind a big bully's coat tails, if you catch my drift!!! He's the antithesis of what your average Anzac stood for. He's the biggest political fraud to which Australia has ever been subjected, and I include in that our erstwhile subservience to the British Wankpire.

JahTeh, yes. Whilst that's the best America can come up with, I cannot help thinking that "the terrorists" have got a point. That's not to say I approve of the terrorists' methods, BECAUSE I DON'T!!!
